Abhay Ojha steps down as CEO of Zee Media

Abhay Ojha, who recently resigned as the chief executive officer of Zee Media, took to LinkedIn to announce his departure and explain the sequence of events that followed post the announcement.  In the employment-focused social media platform, Ojha explained that the decision to resign came after a conversation with the promoter on Saturday at 8 PM, which led to his immediate resignation.  Despite his original terms of appointment including a notice period, Ojha felt that the critical nature of his role and his impending shift to a competitor necessitated an immediate handover.  "I wanted to personally inform you all that I have made a significant career move. As of this weekend, I have resigned from my role as CEO at Zee Media. Clinton Maynard has assumed the role of overnight host at Nine Radio’s 2GB and 4BC, from Tuesdays to Fridays, allowing current overnight host Mike Jeffreys to reduce his workload. Maynard announced his new role on the microblogging site ‘X’ formerly Twitter, stating, "Sleep won't be a priority for me for a while. I've been appointed @2GB873 @NewsTalk4BC Weekday Overnight host. I'll report a little here and there, but no longer day in day out. Call me if you can't sleep 131 873." With a career spanning various roles in radio and journalism, including being the Senior Network Reporter & State Political Reporter at 2GB, Maynard brings a wealth of experience to his new position.
