Cipri Italian Celebrates 15 Years with an Exclusive Dinner Party – 12 March 2025

Cipri Italian, the beloved family-run restaurant in the heart of Paddington, is celebrating 15 years of authentic Italian cuisine. To mark the occasion, founders and brothers Joe, Carmelo, and Anthony Cipri will host an exclusive 15th Birthday Celebration Dinner on Wednesday, March 12, from 6:30 pm.

What began as a dream to share their heritage and love of food has grown into one of Sydney's most cherished dining experiences. "We wanted to create a place where people felt like part of our family—where the warmth and joy of a traditional Italian meal could be shared with everyone," says Joe Cipri. "It's been an incredible 15 years, and we are proud to keep delivering an authentic experience that feels like home." 

Cipri Italian's 15th Birthday Celebration Dinner invites guests to indulge in a carefully curated four-course menu, featuring cherished family recipes and flavours from Italy's diverse culinary regions. The experience includes delicate, handmade pastas crafted in-house and signature mains, expertly prepared by Executive Chef Carmelo Cipri and Head Chef Omar Gasbarri, a native of Lazio, Italy. Cipri Italian's signature warm hospitality and live Italian music will set the scene for a truly memorable celebration.

Guests can choose from Cipri Italian's carefully curated wine list specialising in Italian wines, or for those who prefer to bring their own bottle, they offer BYO service Monday to Thursday and Friday lunch.

"Wine is the soul of Italian dining," says Anthony Cipri. "Each bottle on our list is chosen to elevate the flavours of our food, bringing the richness and diversity of Italian wine regions to the table." 

More than just a restaurant, Cipri Italian has become a community hub, welcoming locals, professionals, politicians, and celebrities alike. In 2018, the Cipri brothers expanded their vision with Barbetta next door—an all-day destination offering breakfast, lunch, and dinner, alongside aperitivo hour, gourmet groceries, catering, and hands-on pasta, cooking, and Italian language classes.
