Brad Thomas to manage Canon’s alliance program

SYDNEY, 12 October 2010: Canon Australia today announced it has appointed Brad Thomas as Assistant General Manager of Alliances across Australia and New Zealand. With over 20 years experience, Brad has managed global alliances with Intel, SAP, Fujitsu, IBM and Unisys.

Allan Corder, Chief Operating Officer, Canon Australia commented on the appointment: “Canon is undertaking an aggressive growth strategy and forming strategic alliances is essential to achieving our objectives. Brad’s experience working with leading systems integrators will open Canon up to new business channels and accelerate our growth.”

In his most recent role, Brad was National Manager for Channels and Alliances at Novell, prior to this Brad was the Asia Pacific Alliance Director for IBM at Lenovo and Partner Business Manager for Global Alliances at Microsoft.
