Softlink Pacific Congratulates Kids’ Lit Quiz Winners

Softlink Pacific would like to congratulate the winners of Kids’ Lit Quiz National Final, which was held on the 15^th of June at Parliament House in Wellington.

This year marks the 20^th anniversary of the Kids’ Lit Quiz, an annual literature competition for children aged 10to 13. As a proud supporter of school libraries and literacy in schools, Softlink has sponsored the annual literacy competition for the past three years.

The winners of the Kids’ Lit Quiz National Final are:

First Place: Tahuna Normal Intermediate School, Dunedin.

Second Place: Nelson College Prep School, Nelson.

Third Place: Blue Mountain College, Tapanui, West Otago.

Fourth Place: Evans Bay Intermediate School, Kilbernie, Wellington.

Softlink Pacific’s Business Account Manager, Ms Lyn Walker, attended the National final in Wellington.

“I really enjoyed the anticipation and the excitement of the competition. It was inspiring to see such passion for reading and literacy across New Zealand, and to see teams from every single region participating in the competition,” she said.

First place winners Tahuna Normal Intermediate School will be representing New Zealand in the international final of the 20th Celebration InternationalKids' Lit Quiz against other winning teams from theUnited Kingdom,South Africaand China in Hamilton on the 19^th of July.
